Christian M. Maloof
Christian Maloof first became interested in motorsports early on. His Father, motorsports enthusiast and owner of various Porsches, fostered his passion and taught him to care for cars.
Growing up on an island, his early driving career included various watercraft including a small inflatable boat with hard bottom and outboard motor which he would use to ride the waves, jump wakes, and take on big water. His first job, warming up cars, evolved into assisting in the maintenance of fine sportscars. His first racing experience involved offshore boats and big boats in gulf and inter-coastal watercraft competitions.
In 1997, Maloof received a B. A. in Economics from the University of Michigan. His interest in performance driving deepened in 2001, when he attended his first Driver’s Education event with the Rally Sport Region (RSP, Porsche Club of America) at Waterford Hills race track in Michigan. Within a year he was instructing for RSP and in 2004 became their Chief Instructor and Track Chairman—positions he currently holds.
In 2002, he successfully completed the Skip Barber Race School, obtaining a Formula Dodge Race License. Between 2002-7, Maloof focused on growing his business, Watermark homes. He also continued working on his driving technique and became nationally recognized as a certified high performance instructor for Porsche Club of America, BMW Car Club of America, Audi Car Club of America, Lotus Car Owners Club, Ferrari Club, Lamborghini Club, CGI Driving School, TracQuest, and Speed Masters.
